Between all of the challenges, the chaos and all that's being asked of you, all that you are asking from yourself, do you sometimes feel isolated, overwhelmed, overstretched as you do the important work of mothering?
Are you trying to break old cycles and ways of mothering that you inherited from our patriarchal culture and perhaps from your own lineage that aren't in alignment with what kind of mother you want to be for your children?
Do want to show up for yourself and your children, whatever age and stage they may be in, in a more embodied way that draws on the innate wisdom and intelligence of your body?
Do you want to cultivate a more loving inner voice and more compassion towards yourself so that you can show up for your children with more compassion and understanding?
Do you want to model a more embodied way of being and living for your children so that they can learn to trust their own bodies, and honor the embodied wisdom of others?
Even if you're children are grown, do you know inside that you could benefit from offering yourself and them this more compassionate and fiercely loving embodied mother medicine
If so dear mama, come take some time to connect with your body, with your center, your pelvis and your womb, your breath and your heart.
Take a little time to honor the sacred, creative, nurturing, sensual, wisdom that your body carries.
Take a little time to be with your sensations and feelings as they arise, and grow your capacity to hold those sensations and feelings with tenderness and compassion~ this is how we learn to do that for our children~ by starting with ourselves
Many of us have a lot of "un-learning" to do. We've received a lot of programming built on disembodied ways of being, that haven't honored the body, or the felt-sense of life, or intuition, or collaboration, or genuine boundaries. Much of the programming we've received has in fact been built on shame, control, fear and disconnectedness.
But we can usher in a cultural shift, and a new way of being built on some of the ancient ways that understand that we are all connected, that we are part of Mother Earth, that we are all sacred, that we need community, connection, and deep understanding in order for life to thrive.
Dear mama, join me in ushering in this shift by showing up for yourself and tending to your body and emotions in simple but nourishing ways
We'll never be perfect. This is not about perfection. This is is about returning to our sacred center and honoring all that it is. This is about being with life as it is unfolding. This is about remembering our interconnectedness with each other and our Earth
